The finding
What the evidence shows
Comedian Kenny DeForest did die after a bike crash in Brooklyn in December 2023. Early reports called it a hit-and-run, but later reporting found he was riding an e-bike and struck an unoccupied parked car, with no other vehicle involved, so he was not hit by anyone. The reports we found do not say whether he was wearing a helmet.
