Joe Rogan Experience #2544 - Chris Williamson · Aired Aug 21, 2026
Claim summary · not a verbatim quotation
Hundreds of police officers have been caught using Flock Safety camera data to stalk individuals.
The finding
What the evidence shows
The abuse is documented, the scale is not. Reporting in 2026 found officers in at least a dozen states misusing Flock's plate reader network, with more than 50 documented instances including officers tracking former partners. That is a real and growing problem, but hundreds of officers caught specifically stalking people is well beyond what has been established.
