Joe Rogan Experience #2545 - Jesse Michels · Aired Aug 25, 2026
Claim summary · not a verbatim quotation
The Ark of the Covenant is currently located in Axum, Ethiopia, and guarded by the Templars.
The finding
What the evidence shows
The Ethiopian Orthodox Church does claim to hold the Ark in Axum and keeps it under guard, that part checks out. But the guards are church clergy, not the Knights Templar, an order that was disbanded in the 14th century with no documented connection to the site.
