Joe Rogan Experience #2539 - Protect Our Parks 17 · Aired Aug 13, 2026
Claim summary · not a verbatim quotation
Kanye West attended a comedy show in Los Angeles in May where Shane Gillis and Louis C.K. were also present.
The finding
What the evidence shows
Kanye West's appearance is solid: multiple entertainment outlets confirmed Dave Chappelle brought him onstage as a surprise guest at The Comedy Store in West Hollywood on May 4, 2026, and roasted him to a standing ovation. Reporting on the night also referenced Chris Rock and Louis C.K. being involved, but coverage doesn't confirm Shane Gillis was there, so pairing him with the other two names overstates what's actually documented.
