JRE MMA Show #187 with Robert Whittaker · Aired Oct 22, 2026
Claim summary · not a verbatim quotation
At a facility in Florida, crocodiles are observed running over the heads of alligators to access food.
The finding
What remains unresolved
Joe describes a Florida facility where crocodiles and alligators feed together. The transcript does not name the facility or identify an original video. We could not independently locate that precise observation. An unusual anecdote does not need a scientific paper to be true, and our first pass overstated that requirement.
No supporting source was captured. This finding should not be treated as a sourced conclusion.
Quick answer & review status
Quick answer
Is it true that at a facility in Florida, crocodiles are observed running over the heads of alligators to access food?
We can't say yet. Joe describes a Florida facility where crocodiles and alligators feed together. The transcript does not name the facility or identify an original video. Joe Rogan said it (matched by voice) on JRE MMA Show #187 with Robert Whittaker, aired Oct 22, 2026, at 2:41:03. We couldn't settle it from the evidence we captured, so it stays an open question, not a false claim. No supporting source was captured, so don't treat this as a sourced conclusion.
